About Dr. Bliss

Dr. Ryan Bliss is a board-certified Elbow, Hand & Wrist Specialist at BROC’s Bluebonnet Campus in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Bliss earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Bliss was further trained in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the New York University Hospital for Joint Disease as the Littler Eaton Hand Fellow and completed a Microsurgery course at Columbia University. With a commitment to providing personalized care, Dr. Bliss specializes in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for complex trauma and reconstruction of the upper extremity. He focuses on soft tissue injuries, wrist arthroscopy, nerve compressions, and hand arthritis. Compassionate and patient-centered, Dr. Bliss collaborates with his patients to develop tailored treatment plans that aim to optimize recovery and minimize downtime.
