Dr. Girod earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana College, Westmont College, and Louisiana Tech University before completing his Doctor of Medicine at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, where he graduated with honors. He went on to complete his internship and residency at Texas A&M University’s Scott and White Memorial Hospital. Dr. Girod further specialized in adult and pediatric spine surgery during his fellowship at Rocky Mountain Spine Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Girod is involved in charitable work. He contributes his time and expertise to the McMains Children’s Developmental Center, supporting children with developmental disabilities. With a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Girod employs the latest advancements in spine surgery to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the spine.
