Dr. Hensler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science, Cum Laude, from Robert Morris University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following this, Dr. Hensler completed his Family Medicine Residency at Baton Rouge General Hospital, where he also pursued a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. Outside the clinic, Dr. Hensler serves as the Lead Physician for the LSU Women’s Soccer team and volunteers as a physician for various local high school sports teams. He is also actively involved in community outreach, providing medical support to youth sports networks and hosting educational sessions for middle school students. With a commitment to providing personalized care, Dr. Hensler employs the latest advancements in sports medicine to diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
