Dr. Linschoten was born in The Netherlands, raised in the Caribbean, and settled in Baton Rouge in 1992. He attended medical school at the State University of Utrecht and completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He further specialized in total joint replacements through a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Linschoten is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of orthopedic care, focusing on individualized treatment plans. With over 25 years of experience, he believes in building a strong partnership with his patients, listening to their concerns, and involving them in the decision-making process regarding their treatment.
