About Dr. Faust

Dr. John Faust is a board-certified Pediatric Specialist serving patients at BROC’s Bluebonnet Campus located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Dr. John Faust specializes in the non-operative and operative treatment of musculoskeletal (bone and joint) problems in children and adolescents. During medical school, his infant daughter was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. She was treated non-operatively with a harness, and now her hips are normal. This experience inspired Dr. Faust to specialize in pediatric orthopedics. He treats patients with all pediatric orthopedics problems but has a particular interest in spine and hip deformities as well as arthroscopy. His research on early onset scoliosis as well as hip dysplasia, has been presented at national and international medical society meetings. Dr. John Faust performed the first Ganz PAO surgery in Louisiana in 2018 and the first Apifix surgery in Louisiana in 2022.
