About Dr. Bowlin

Dr. Timothy Bowlin is a board-certified Elbow, Hand & Wrist Specialist serving patients at BROC’s Bluebonnet Campus in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Bowlin attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans and graduated in the top five in his class. He then chose the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Arkansas for his orthopedic surgery residency. Here, Dr. Bowlin found that the opportunity to help his patients get back to work and their hobbies using their hands is unbelievably gratifying. The complexity of hands, wrists, and elbows offers diverse problems that keep him busy helping people. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Bowlin finished his training in hand surgery at the Indiana Hand Center. There, he was mentored by eight amazing hand surgery experts and became proficient in all aspects of upper extremity surgery. After his training was complete, he and his wife decided they wanted to be closer to family, and they found themselves in Baton Rouge. Working at BROC offered the opportunity to work amongst an amazing peer group of dedicated orthopedic surgeons that strive for nothing but the best for their patients.
